That unknown number ringing right now? Wazi tells you who it is, warns you when it's been reported for spam or a scam, and quietly silences the ones you never want to hear from again.
So you guess. Answer and risk another scam, or decline and risk missing something that mattered. Every day, several times a day.
A row of digits and nothing else. No name, no hint, no help from your phone.
The fake reversal, the fake prize, the "bank" asking you to confirm a PIN.
The same recovery number, four times a day, about somebody else's loan.
One real message buried under promos, betting odds and "you've won" texts.

Nothing to maintain, no lists to keep updating by hand.
Download Wazi and follow a few simple steps. You choose what access to give, and Wazi explains what each one is for.
Calls and messages arrive exactly like before. Wazi just checks each one the moment it lands.
A name, a business, a warning, or an honest "Unknown". Either way you decide, instead of the ringing phone deciding for you.
Three seconds while your phone rings, drawn exactly as the app shows them.
Know who's calling before you answer, not after.

A missed call at 6am. A number on a poster. A number that texted you asking for money. Type it into Wazi and get the same answer you would have got if it had rung through.
This is the one people use most in the first week: finally putting a name to the number that has been ringing them for a month.
Silent mode is all or nothing. Everything gets through, or nothing does, and you spend the evening checking whether you missed something that mattered. Focus Shield is the other way round: you decide who gets through, and everyone else is quietly held back.
The phone starts again. A number you don't know. Then a betting text. Then the recovery number about a loan that was never yours.
You could switch the phone off. But your mother might call. Your boss might call. The school might call.
So you leave it on, and you keep getting interrupted. Focus Shield is for exactly that evening.
The same shield, two very different messages to the person calling.
The call is dropped instantly and they hear the "not reachable" tone, as if your phone were switched off. Best for a persistent nuisance caller you want to give up quickly.
Their phone rings normally. Yours stays completely quiet. They have no idea they were filtered, so there's nothing awkward to explain later. Best for everyday focus.
Either way the call still appears in your log, tagged Filtered, so you can always see who tried and call them back.
Nobody wants to hand-build an allow list. So Focus Shield works out who you already trust, and keeps doing it as your life changes.
Turn each one on or off. Nothing is decided for you.
On "Contacts Sync": that switch does not send your phonebook anywhere. It copies the numbers you already have into Wazi's own storage on your phone, so it knows which callers are your people. Numbers only, never names, and never off the device.
Expecting a delivery, a plumber, a ride? Give that one number a pass for an hour or a day. It disappears on its own, so your list never fills up with strangers.
Set the hours you're reachable and the ones you're not. It runs itself, every day, without you having to remember to switch anything on.
If the same number calls twice within three minutes, Wazi lets the second one ring. Because sometimes the unknown number is somebody with bad news, calling from a stranger's phone.
Most caller-ID apps want to become your phone app. Wazi will if you want it to, but it doesn't need to. Leave your dialler exactly as it is and Wazi draws a small card on top of it the moment a call comes in.
Every card below is the real thing, drawn from the same measurements the app uses.
Wazi reads each message as it arrives, works out what kind it is, and puts a tab on top for every kind it finds. Your money alerts stop sharing a list with fake prize draws.
A tab only appears once you really have that kind of message, so the row never fills up with empty categories.
Plenty of caller-ID apps get their accuracy by uploading your whole phonebook: your family's numbers, your customers', everyone who ever trusted you with their contact. Wazi doesn't work that way, and never has.
Read on your phone, only when they're needed.
Never uploaded. Never synced to us. Never sold.
Caller ID that works without taking your phonebook.

Yes. Caller ID, spam and scam warnings, the sorted message inbox and offline protection are all in the free version. Free includes a daily allowance for identifying callers and shows light ads once you reach it. Wazi Pro removes both, for KSh 199 a month or KSh 1,499 a year.
No. Wazi reads your contacts on your own phone so it can recognise people you already know, and that is where they stay. They are never uploaded, never synced to us and never shared, whether you're on Free or Pro.
No, and we would rather tell you that than pretend otherwise. When Wazi doesn't have a confident match it shows "Unknown" instead of putting a name to a number it isn't sure about. A confident wrong answer would be far worse than an honest blank one.
That's the fear it's designed around. Everyone in your phonebook gets through automatically, as does anyone you've called or texted first. Filtered calls still appear in your log tagged "Filtered", so you can see who tried and call back. And if the same number calls twice within three minutes, Wazi lets the second one ring, because that pattern usually means something is genuinely wrong.
Yes. You can block any number in one tap, and see everything you've blocked in one place. Blocked numbers are rejected silently, so they never ring and you're never interrupted.
Yes. With no connection Wazi still shows you the number and anything already saved on your phone, then finishes checking the moment your data comes back, even while the phone is still ringing.
Phone and call access so it can identify and screen calls, contacts access so it can recognise people you already know, and message access so it can sort your inbox. Each one maps to a feature you can see, and Wazi explains what it's for during setup. Nothing is requested "just in case".
No, and the word is a poor one on our part. Nothing is sent anywhere. When you turn Contacts Sync on, Wazi reads the phone numbers already on your phone and writes them into its own storage on that same phone, so Focus Shield knows to let your own people ring through. There is no upload, no account, no copy on our servers, and no name or email is read at all, only the numbers. It refreshes every few hours so a contact you added yesterday is not treated as a stranger, and switching it off clears the list immediately.
